Character casting

The above video contains some other characters interviewed for our thriller film, Tanika Gibbert, Kadeem Gordon, Paul Abustan and Jubel Rahman. Each of which were casted for certain roles within the thriller, but as our thriller contained no dialogue we chose not to record any footage but had still images of each person from different angles.

Restricted Props

Within this clip are various shots of our props that we used in order to create an array of different effects and help portray our narrative to the audience most effectively. In addition the props we used were the chemical equipments, lights, massive box, mechanical equipment, model dummy.

Lighting
We used an array of different lighting effects continuously throughout our thriller from the lights entering the box to the lights at the operating table. We used different light sources such as a lamp, photography lamp, Redhead, various coloured gels, natural lights. They're primarily used in order to help enforce that sense of realism within the story, and helped make it seem more believable.

Chemical equipment
We used chemical equipment such as bottles, chemicals tubs, chemicals signs, all of which were used within our final products. They were used in order to help display the theme of conspiracy, and legal elements within our thriller.

Background frame support
This was used in order to create the background frame for the operating scene, and it helped to hold up the white sheet.

Large wooden box
Another one of the main props we used the box, which contained the protagonist and was the focal point of the entire opening sequence.

29/03/2011 log - Soundtrack, Editing and Filming

Today after receiving feedback from the day before we reassessed our thriller, and decided to make numerous amounts of changes. Some of those changes involved re-filming certain aspects of the our thriller, such as getting various shots of inside the box, as well as getting the box with greater light, allowing the audience see the box more clearly. In addition we re-filmed the the surgery part as i believed that it didn't convey the narrative i wanted to put across Another one of the things we changed was the soundtrack, we decided to go for a more tension building and mysterious approach, rather than our original fast paced soundtrack, which inevitably didn't suit the pace the story conveyed. We have yet to fully touch upon the rest of the changes.

Visual production soundtrack

This is the soundtrack that was used within our thriller film, and it was produced using the program garageband. There were a vast amount of different versions of this becuase certain key elements were either out of sync, or missing certains parts.

Production Logo

This was our final production logo that we decided to go with, due to the fact that it anchored the production name and emphasized the fact that were not associated with mainstream commercial film industry. In order to make this we took, and image of a persons eye close up, and from there we decided to add various effects. Initially we wanted to make the picture in color, and give the iris a rainbow effect, however we decided to go with a black and white effect, because of the fact that it seemed more professional and simplistic. The program we used was Adobe Photo shop.
