17/02/2011 Pt 2 log - Animatic

Above is the animatic (without titles), and this esssentially is the storyboard that was created by me (Junior), and drawn by Scott. It merely contains the various shots that would be inside of our opening sequence, as well some music made by Paul, that was incorporated to effectively allow the audience to feel the emotion that we as a group were trying to convey. The animatic it's self was made in "iMovie", and shot with a Flip camera, by taking pictures of all the different shots. We then imported them, and then edited it in iMovie. As mentioned in previous logs we encountered problems with the software, and had to remake it, but with far greater skill. We as a group all added to it, i scripted the shot types, as well as edited them (Junior), Scott drawed the shots, Muhudir filmed and uploaded the shots,and Paul made the soundtrack. Furthermore to insure that there was no shaiking in shots, we used a still effect the essentailly took camera shots of the desired period within that indivdual take, which made the animatic seem more professional.
