Restricted's Storyboard

Below is the opening sequence shot list to our film Restricted:


1) Establishing shoit of a highly populated area, and showing a variey of flats and houses

2) Mid-shot of a particular house/flat thats run down, dirty, yet humane enough to lvie in, and highlightinbg finer details of the house/flat.


3) The camera would then cut insdie the house, and be at the bottom of the door with light seeping in from the bottom, and then slowly pans away from door, while eveything else is significantly dark with speckles of light from various corners.


4)  Would continue to pan towards the left, and camera looking from a high angle of the window with lgith coming through it in a downwards direction.


5) The camera would slowly move from a high angle to a low angle of some type of containers like objects, that looks dingy, and old, yet stable.


6) Then the camera would pan through a crack situated in the centre of the box, and while goinjg through crack, a figure would slowly emerge infornt.


7) We'd then see a slocuhed, feeble and weak looking figure of a woman that could be indentified as a female, with the light creeping through the box highlighting various features of her body such as legs, part of face, hand etc.


8) We'd cut outside of the box, on the other side, and we'd slowly begin to pan away, while girl is looking thorugh hole, and all surrounding are in depth of field except her eye looking through the whole as well as the box.

9) everything would be in depth of field except the box a d her looking through the crack, and it would be bright, and it'd be panning away from the box towards another side. So it's mid way.

10) at this point it would've panned to a certain point, everything as before but the box is further away and everything is in depth of field including the box. This time in the corner of the shot to the right there'd be a table with a dish on top full of tools, but that would be clear.

11) it's be the exact same scene as above but this time a band would be going in to grab the dish but it's be halfway down, and not yet at the dish. He'd be wearing gloved with blood stains on it, and a bit of his sleeve would be shown, no other body parts.

12) From there the camera would be in POV from the girls point of view looking through the whole, and you'd be 4 people standing around a table operating, dresses in operating clothes, with blood staines on them, and the doctors hand would be inside the bowls, and you'd see his entire body, along with the other. Large flood lights would be above them, and on the doctors would be gathered around the person they're operating on, but their legs would be hanging from the corners.

13) this scene would consist of someone walking past the box, and the camera still in POV seeing their legs.

14) this time the camera would've swiveled around and you'd see the guy from the front front, and you'd need to make it seem like the camera is going through their legs.

15) this scene would consists of seeing a large man dressed like
a carpenter, but you'd see him from the back at a low angle. There would need to be a table in front of him with draws (basically a carpenter psychos table)
16) from there the camera would cut to a POV of the carpenter, sharpening some tools, and you'd see part of the table with other tools, and blood stains in it.

17) after you'd then see him put down the tools in his hand, and then open one of the draw, and reach inside it, this would all still happen from POV.

18) From there we'd cut inside the draw, with his hand reaching in to grab another tool, like axe or tongs. You'd slightly see the tool but mainly his hand which would look dirty, old, wearer out due work

19) from there it'd just be a plain black screen

20) From the black a door would open, and someone be standing their, but you'd only see their knees and downwards. Light would be flooding in behind them.

21) They'd then walk toward the camera, while it's facing them head on and one foot would be in front. More detail on the boot

22) After the camera would cut behind them and see him walking forward, and then walking towards the carpenter guy, but remember you'd only be seeing the knees and downwards. So you'd see the carpenters legs to the side of the shot, including part of the table.

23) After that the camera would be facing head on still tracking the guys in front, and you'd see the people operating but once again from their knees and downwards. Including the table that had the dish on it, and
you'd also see part of the box.

24) From their the you would walk towards the box, on the side where the hole the victim was looking through was. Still all from knees downwards.

25) From their the camera would cut to a POV of the victim inside the box, and the light coming through the holes would disappear, and part of her hair would be in the shot due to the POV.

26) The. It'd cut to a POV of the man outside the box taking a key from his pocket

27) Cut back inside the box still in POV of the victim, and she'd be looking up at the roof of the box, and could faintly see a figure from
outside the box

28) Cut back to the POV of the guy picking up the lock on the box, and places key inside it.

29) Cuts back inside the box, still in POV of the victim, and she retreats to a corner of the box, holding her knees close to her, so you see her own hand, and knees because she'd be looking down.

30) After that it's cut to a POV of man taking off the lock, and slightly opens the box lid.

31) Cuts back inside the box with girl looking up still in POV, and lid opens, and through the gap where the lid has opened you can see the
section of the man outside

32) Same scene as above but this time lid is more opened, and a lot
of light floods the box but you can still slightly see the door of the box box but it's overtake. By the a amount of light.

33) Scene ends and light turns into title
